Joe’s love for art began at the Boulevard Art Center, where his parents took him every Saturday morning. He couldn’t wait to practice what he learned throughout the week and return to the art center for more inspiration.
The art class was the best babysitter

There’s a school that walks by my studio, and I’ve seen groups of kids talking about my work, saying, ‘Oh, this is so cute!’ It’s too much,
he laughs.

I like to treat every project as a blank slate
